# Can candidates take a Xobin test on mobile? What are the limitations?

In most cases, candidates can use a mobile phone to take a Xobin assessment.

However, mobile phones **cannot** be used if **Screen Recording** or **Lockdown Browser** has been enabled for the assessment.

| It is generally recommended to use a laptop or desktop for the best assessment experience.
