# How to invite candidates using an open link?

1. **Log In to Your Account**
* Go to [https://app.xobin.com/signin](https://app.xobin.com/signin) and sign in with your credentials.

2. **Navigate to the Assessments Tab**
* In the sidebar, click **Assessments**.

3. **Access the Invite Section**
* Click **Invite** next to the required assessment.

4. **Copy the Open Link**
* Click on **Open Link**.
* Click **Copy Link** to copy the assessment link to your clipboard.
* Share the link manually with your candidates.

5. **Set a Timer for the Open Link** (Optional)
* Click **Set link availability**.
* Select the **start** and **end** dates for the link's validity period.
* Click **Save settings**.

**Open links are ideal in the following scenarios:**
* **Hackathons**: When participant data such as names and email addresses is unavailable, the open link can be hosted on your website for participants to access directly.
* **Campus Recruitment**: When there isn't enough time to send individual invites, the open link can be shared at a common location or posted on a shared platform.
* **Social Media Job Posts**: Share the open link alongside your Job Description on social media. Candidates can read the JD and take the assessment directly as the first round of the hiring process, with successful candidates advancing to the next round.
