# How to manually evaluate a candidate's answer for subjective questions?

1. **Open the Candidate's Report**
* Click **Reports** next to the required assessment to view the full list of candidates.
* Click **View report** next to the candidate you want to evaluate.

2. **Enter the Score**
* Scroll to the required subjective question.
* Enter the marks manually in the **Evaluator Score** field, or use the slider at the end of the field to increase or decrease the score.

3. **Save the Score**
* Click **Save Score** to record your marks.

|| This score is added to the candidate's existing section score and will update both the section and overall test score accordingly.

4. **Edit the Score (If Needed)**
* Click **Change Score** to revise the marks awarded.
* Enter the new score and click **Save Score** again. The updated marks will be reflected shortly.
