How to use a pre-built assessment template?

Xobin offers 3,400+ skill assessment tests and 2,500+ of job role-based assessments. You can browse or search the assessment library to find the right test and invite candidates to take it. Follow the steps below to get started:-


  1. Log In to Your Account


  1. Navigate to the Assessments Tab
  • In the sidebar, click Assessments.


  1. Create a new assessment
  • Click + Create Assessment to open the creation area.



  1. Pick a Template
  • Use the search bar to find a pre-built assessment, or browse by category using the filters.
  • Click Use Template for the required assessment.



  1. Customize the Assessment
  • Click + Add Section in the bottom-left to add more sections.
  • Hover over a section and click the bin icon to delete it.
  • Click the pen icon in the top-left to edit the assessment name.
  • Use the Cut Off text box to set the cut-off score.
  • Edit the section-wise timing using the Timer text box.
  • To add more questions, click + Select Questions from Library.



  1. Add Questions from the Library
  • Use the top bar to select the type of questions you want to add.
  • In the left sidebar, search for the required skill and click on it to filter questions.
  • Use the difficulty level toggles to filter questions by difficulty.
  • Tick the checkbox next to each question you want to include.
  • Click Add n Question(s) at the bottom to add the selected questions to the assessment.



  1. Save the Assessment
  • Click Create and Save Assessment.


  1. Edit the Description
  • Enter the description to be displayed to candidates before they begin the assessment.
  • Click Next.



  1. Set Up the Registration Form
  • Configure the fields candidates must fill in before beginning the assessment.
  • Click Next.



  1. Configure Proctoring Settings
  • Toggle on the required proctoring settings.
  • Click Launch Assessment.



  1. Send Invites, Preview, or Edit
  • Send Invites: Share the assessment via the open link or through email invites (single or bulk).
  • Preview: Preview the assessment to see how it appears to candidates.
  • Edit: Make any final changes to the assessment if needed.
  • Click the cross (×) button in the top-right corner when done.
