# What is the notification of off-tab activity?

When a candidate attempts to navigate away from the assessment tab, the following warning is displayed:

**"Warning: Do Not Navigate Away**
**AFTER n Time(s) OF LEAVING THE PAGE YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED"**

where **n** counts down from **4 to 1** with each subsequent off-tab violation.

If a candidate exceeds the maximum number of permitted off-tab violations, the current section will be automatically submitted. The candidate can then continue with the remaining sections, and the off-tab violation count will be reset for each new section.
