How to connect Xobin MCP to Claude?

Custom remote MCP connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. Free plans are limited to one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, only an Owner or Primary Owner can add the connector organization-wide; each member then connects using their own Xobin account.

Note: Before proceeding, make sure you have reviewed the prerequisites and connection values in Connecting Xobin to AI Assistants via MCP.

Team and Enterprise (Owners):

1. Go to Organization Settings → Connectors.
2. Click Add, hover over Custom, then select Web.
3. Enter the MCP server URL: https://mcp.xobin.com/mcp.
4. Leave OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret blank under Advanced Settings.
5. Click Add.

Members (After an Owner Has Added the Connector):

1. Go to Customize → Connectors.
2. Find Xobin (it may appear as "Custom").
3. Click Connect.

4. Click Connect to Claude.

5. Sign in to Xobin and approve the mcp:read and mcp:write scopes.

Connecting via Chat:

1. Click +.
2. Select Connectors.
3. Select + Add Connector.
4. Click Browse Connectors.

5. Type Xobin in the search bar.
6. Click the + next to Xobin.

Pro and Max:

1. Go to Customize → Connectors.
2. Click +, then Add Custom Connector.
3. Enter https://mcp.xobin.com/mcp.
4. Leave OAuth Client ID and Secret blank.
5. Click Add, then Connect, and complete the Xobin sign-in.

Using It in a Chat:

1. In a conversation, open + → Connectors.
2. Turn on the Xobin connector.

3. Ask a Xobin-related question, for example: "List open roles in Xobin and show the strongest candidates for the most recent one."

Confirming the Connection

• Test the connection with any sample question.
• Then test a write action you can safely review. Eg: "Draft (do not send) an assessment invitation for a candidate I name."

Troubleshooting

• Claude asks for a Client ID.
• Leave this field empty — Xobin supports dynamic client registration.
